The ski resort above Kuusamo, on the southern edge of Lapland. Hundreds of holiday homes around the slopes, a compact village at the top, and the widest cabin choice outside Rovaniemi. Kuusamo airport is twenty-five minutes. Hostels, campsites, holiday parks, homestays. Fewer of them, cheaper, and often the better story.
